Drive through the most dramatic landscapes carved by thousands of years of volcanic activity.

Now that’s a drive

If it’s thundering waterfalls, bubbling hot springs and mystic mountains that you want, then Iceland is the destination for you.

After a quick 3 hour flight you will start your tour in the capital, Reykjavik.

Monument

Typical street scene in Reykjavik

Spend the first two nights getting to know the capital. Your home will be the 4 star Hotel Reykjavik Natura. This stunning hotel is located in one of the greenest parts of the city, where you can take advantage of its excellent position.

How about a stroll into town or a brisk walk along the sea front, or if you prefer something more relaxing what about a swim in the indoor geothermal heated pool and hot tub.

The Blue Lagoon

With your free day in Reykjavik you will get the chance to gaze at the oldest architectural remains in Iceland, dating back to 870 AD. Or, visit the volcano house, this is one of the most popular attractions in Iceland and will give you a chance to learn about everything volcanic, their films aren’t bad either.

Colourful houses

The church of Hallgrimur is also worth a visit, perched on top of the hill you can see if from almost anywhere. This city is great to just wonder, stop for a coffee and take in the different views that await you round every corner.

After a fun couple of days in the capital it’s time to hit the road.
